Arbanassi is one of the most picturesque Bulgarian villages. It is located 4 km northeast of Veliko Tarnovo on the rocky plateau of the same name, which reveals a magnificent view of the old Bulgarian capital and the historical hills Tsarevets and Trapezitsa.
In the village are preserved 300 stone houses with distinctive architecture from the 17th and 18th centuries, among which are the Konstanzalieva, Kandilarova, Hadjipanayotovata, Lechevata house and the home of Ilarion Dragostinov.
The courtyards of the houses are full of greenery. Ideal place for seclusion and escape from the stress of the big city. Saturdays and Sundays are usually full of tourists who occupy restaurants and taverns. The rest of the village is quiet and peaceful.
